SIBU: Distrepark Sdn Bhd looks set to finish the year on a strong note as it has exceeded its target for 2015.
The housing developer in the vibrant township of Sibu Jaya bucked the softening market trend for properties and registered a surge in sales of its residential Pearl Avenue homes.
At a “Christmas Open House”, bankers and customers present agreed that the Pearl Avenue homes, comprising the “Agatha” and “Belinda” range, were a good buy and its competitive pricing of RM278,000 and above had boosted sales tremendously.
“It’s hard to find homes like Pearl Avenue priced below the RM300,000 range.
“The affordable pricing as well as the quality and aesthetic appearance of Pearl Avenue homes made it an instant winner with buyers,” Sibu Jaya’s senior manager for business development Eddy Puah said at a media briefing.
To date, 90% of the Pearl Avenue homes, comprising more than 367 units, have been sold.
With limited units available, Puah said the team would be holding more weekend open houses at Pearl Avenue to allow working parents to view the sample units and show houses.
“There were a lot of requests from potential customers so we decided to cater to their needs,” he explained.
Meanwhile, those who were unable to make it to the open house, can make appointments for a special viewing.
