SIBU: <\/strong>Distrepark Sdn Bhd looks set to finish the year on a strong note as it has exceeded its target for 2015.<\/p>\n

The housing developer in the vibrant township of Sibu Jaya bucked the softening market trend for properties and registered a surge in sales of its residential Pearl Avenue homes.<\/p>\n

At a \u201cChristmas Open House\u201d, bankers and customers present agreed that the Pearl Avenue homes, comprising the \u201cAgatha\u201d and \u201cBelinda\u201d range, were a good buy and its competitive pricing of RM278,000 and above had boosted sales tremendously.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s hard to find homes like Pearl Avenue priced below the RM300,000 range.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe affordable pricing as well as the quality and aesthetic appearance of Pearl Avenue homes made it an instant winner with buyers,\u201d Sibu Jaya\u2019s senior manager for business development Eddy Puah said at a media briefing.<\/p>\n

To date, 90% of the Pearl Avenue homes, comprising more than 367 units, have been sold.<\/p>\n

With limited units available, Puah said the team would be holding more weekend open houses at Pearl Avenue to allow working parents to view the sample units and show houses.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere were a lot of requests from potential customers so we decided to cater to their needs,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, those who were unable to make it to the open house, can make appointments for a special viewing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
